Though the tissue may contain viable stem cells at the time they are stored, upon thawing, the existence of viable stem cells may be few, if any.

How can I use my banked stem cells?
In the United States, your cultured stem cells are considered drug products. Our company needs to undergo clinical trials in order to receive drug approvals from the Food and Drug Administration. We are working as quickly as we can to go through this process so patients can have access to treatments. Please click here for updated information on clinical trials. Hope Biosciences Adult Stem Cell Banking is our proprietary method of banking your own, pure mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) for use in the future. We start by extracting MSCs from a small fat sample and then grow them to create your master cell bank. This master cell bank is designed to create practically unlimited doses of your own MSCs for use in the future. This is the exact same process we use for newborn stem cell banking with the source being the placenta in lieu of the fat.
