Join our groundbreaking clinical trial to investigate immune support against COVID-19.

This Phase II clinical trial is specifically designed for those who are regularly exposed to COVID-19 and therefore at the highest risk for contracting the virus. We are investigating whether receiving stem cells prophylactically will provide immune support against the virus. We will monitor outcomes through blood markers.

All processing for stem cell banking as well as therapeutic manufacturing takes place in ISO 7 and 8 cleanrooms designed, certified and monitored in accordance with ISO 14644-1 & 14644-2 standards. All procedures are performed in compliance with cGMP/cGLP regulations. To ensure consistency, we have established a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. All of the products we make are proudly made in at our headquarters in Sugar Land, Texas.

Samantha, Firefighter

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this trial and to use stem cells.

Michael, Police Officer

We've had to take extra precautions when dealing with the public, just to be able to protect everybody.

John, Police Officer

I take all these precautions but we're around so many people at work. This is so exciting and from what I've read, this is the future.

What is the cost to participate?

Zero. There is no cost to participate in the trial.

What is the investigational drug product?

Allogeneic (for a donor) adipose (fat) derived mesenchymal stem cells that have been grown to specific quanitites. This study will have 4 groups - a placebo and 3 varying doses of stem cells. All participants will be radomly enrolled into one of these 4 groups and both the participants and the physician will not know what you are receiving. The placebo is sterile saline.

Who qualifies?

Frontline healthcare workers, first responders, hospital support staff, mortuary workers, laboratory personnel handling patient samples, etc.

How long is the trial?

The entire duration is 6 months however, your physical pariticipation is 5 total visits. The first two vistis will occur 2 weeks apart and the rest will in one month intervals. Each visit will last between 2-3 hours.

Where is the trial conducted?

At our beautiful facility in Sugar Land, Texas.

What happens at each visit?

First, you will meet with a physician for a quick exam. Shortly after, your infusion will begin.

Hope Biosciences is a clinical stage biotechnology company focused on developing cell-based therapeutics for acute and chronic disease. During this pandemic, there are currently no approved therapies available to support immunity against the Coronavirus disease.

Hope Biosciences' patented core technology delivers high-quality, fully characterized, fresh mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), on-demand. MSCs are well-known for their immunomodulatory and regenerative potential.

It is our expectation that providing this therapy will boost the immune system, espeically in cases of individuals at high-risk of developing COVID-19. A healthy immune system is better able to defend against infectious agents like SARS-CoV-2 and decreases the chance a patient will become critically ill. This not only helps keep people healthy, but it decreases the tremendous burden already on a stressed healthcare system. With this treatment, we hope to build a line of defense for our most vulnerable.

No cost to participate.
